Catherine's Story
Life
Life summed up in a paragraph: left Belmont and Notre Dame Elementary for San Francisco and another ND, but the French one, Notre Dame des Victoires, then moved to Annapolis, Maryland for High School( St. Mary's). My bug for French having been peaked in San Fran, I did my junior year abroad in Nantes, France. On to University in South Carolina(Double majored: Finance and French). Moved to Atlanta afterwards (Olympics 1996 is still a great memory), but couldn't get France out of my syste...Expand for more
m, so packed up and moved to Paris in 1997, initially for a year, but I've been here ever since. I married Gilles in 1999 and we have 2 daughters. After many great years in Paris, we have recently moved to Reunion Island (a tiny dot of an island in the south east Indian ocean)for his job. Loving it so far...again, visitors welcome if you ever think you'll be in the neighborhood, though I imagine it's unlikely: it takes about 30 hours of travel to get here from the States!!
