Catherine E.'s Story
I now live in Florida sunce 1979 and enjoy the warm weather. Being from the Boston area I enjoy a change in seasons. I chose Jacksonville as my new home in 1979. It was tuff at first but I made it through being the only person in Jacksonville that came from Boston. I missed all my frineds and the wonderful culture we all enjoyed growing up. I have grown to love it here as more yankee's and democrats come to live here. Love to hear from some of you. Cathy Flynn Class of 1964.

obby's. I also valenteer at the Rescue Mission down town Jacksonville. This is truly a calling and makes me appreciate everyday. I feel like the nun's reched all of us when I am there I think of how they stressed charity work. I don't get paid but I feel rich and satisfied that I am paying back for all those day's my gaurding angel worked overtime. My life is diffent now than I ever thought. I have met wonderful people getting their lives back together. God is a big part of their lives now. I am just there and feel like I have been given a special place in their lives. My hero is the woman and children who graduate from the Mission and take control of their lives with the help of God.
