Catherine's Story
Life
My husband, Mark passed away in 2006. I am working full time as a Hospice Admissions RN after 30+ years in Critical Care. So, I am single again. I live in a 3 BR 2 Bath glorified dog house with 2 Big dogs.
My Pets
Rocky is a Golden Retreiver/German Shepherd mix who is my soul mate. Katy is a Lab/Greyhounf and is my "turbo duck dog". She is an alien from Atlantis probably but we saved her from starvation and she is our girl pup. Both of these dogs passed away. I now have Buckles, a ST Bernard Therapy Dog and Bingo, a Border Collie/Mala...Expand for more

My Kids
My daughter, Erika, came to Houston in 1987 to train in gymnastics with Bela Karolyi. She did well but injured her wrist in 1991 and had to leave gymnastics. She is now married & has 4 children, 4 dogs. They live 12 miles from us in The Woodlands. She studied nursing and is taking classes toward a degree.
My Career
I have been a Critical Care Registered Nurse for 36 years with specialty ICU and Emergency. Now work as Hospice Admissions RN. Monday through Friday beats 12 hour shifts and every other weekend!
