Life
Getting a divorce after 17 years of marriage.. moved back to Tarrytown a year ago..kids live with their father for now. Long story but its for the best right now. My beautiful daughter Alexis just turned 16 and my son Brett is now 8. After being a stay at home mother for 15 years, I was forced to go back to work as a Waitress and Bartender, but I'm looking for a full time position as a Secretary or Bookkeeper because I want something more stable. Took classes for a year then had to take a break because of the move and separation. Will finish that when I can.. it's never too late to go back to school. Anyway, if you checked out my profile why don't you drop me an email, I'd really love to hear from old friends! Is hoping to find true love again someday and live happily ever after... if that's really possible. :)
School
Went to Beauty School but...Expand for more
dropped out after completing more than half the course, so I truly am a beauty school dropout! :) Not only that, but I ended up not wanting to do that for a living. So, I took some acting classes at a well known school in NYC, but didn't pursue that either. Guess you could say that I haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up so maybe by our 25th reunion, I'll have it all figured out, since I didn't have it mapped out by the 20th. LOL
Workplace
Worked for many years as a Waitress and Bartender, as well as a Legal Secretary. Worked at several different restaurants but Petes in Elmsford was by far, the best place to work...I miss that place and the people I worked with. But I decided to focus my energy on being a great mom instead.......besides that's the most important job anyone can do! Miss being a mom full time.. wish I could do that again. :(
