Catherine's Story

Life I think the last people knew about me was I was married living in Jasper Mo. However In 1995 I started an adventure learning about my biological Father who died in Vietnam. My mother had divorced him when she was 5 months pregnant with me. She divorced pretty much everyone in his family. So I grew up not knowing anything about my father. In the progress I became an active member in the VVA and went to Washington D.C. on Fathers day June 16, 1996. I was married at this time to Barry Bland however he declined to go with me on my trip. Basically he had declined to support me at anything I wanted to do, so that's the main reason I divorced him. But that's jumping ahead. I will have to say that this day was the greatest day of my life I found out that he did love me and wanted me. That's what I wanted to know about my Father. I stayed married a few more years trying to keep it together but when only one person gives there is not much use. I have two children, John and Jason. I started to attend PSU and will graduate if all goes my way in spring of 05. While in school I met a wonderful man who is an officer in the U.S. Army. We have been together for over 4 years and have travel all over the world. I recently married him on July 31, 04. He is with the 1-4 Cavalry which right now is in Iraq.. I will be moving to Schweinfurt, Germany after graduation in 05. I will continue my education with the University of Maryland, working on my masters in history. I want to be a college professor when I grow up. Lol School Well we are all grown up now so I guess I can spill the beans on my thoughts of school. When I went to school in Kress I had the biggest crush on Dane Sisemore. He was a Sr. when I was in like the 1st grade maybe 2ND grade but he chose me to walk with him in the Little Miss Kress contest which I received 1st place for. I was so nerves about holding his hand down the auditorium, this was the first time I held a guys hand that wasn't my brother. Lol However I remember thinking he was so cute. He was my very first crush I had on someone. When we moved to Missouri I really didn’t have a crush on anyone. I had many friends who were cool. Missy, Marsha and I making that model of the ship that Christopher Columbus sail or one of them that came over…now that I know so much about history, it is kind of funny how we celebrated Columbus day back then when now we know he did not discover America. And in the 5th grade how Mrs. Holt chose me to debate the south side on why we had slaves….I sucked at that, only because I never could come up with a good reason on why the south had slaves it wasn’t because I couldn’t talk lol. …. Jr. high was a blast…all the times we all walked to pizza villa after the dances… One great night that Christy & Tiffany stayed out all night And we never got caught.Kissing Mark in the back of the track bus with Missy and Jeff in the other back seat.. OO and Mr. Gophofer making the whole class write I will be nice to the substitute teacher like 5 billion times lol. Monty giving me such a hard time in Mrs. Pittman's class Monty you were such a pain I hated high school Those years I wish I could forget well just the freshman and soph. Years Jr. year was the best Christina and I we had some great times. In which I will always consider her my best friend even though I made a big mistake however,,she will always be in my heart Does anyone remember who painted that beautiful Red rose on the top front of the Gym???? I guess now I should say thanks to all the guys who did my Shop work for me lol...Expand for more
…..High school was not that great for me. There was some good times however, I wish now I would have done somethings a little different. I wish I cared more about my grades. A lot of people do not know how bad my childhood was so I will not go into that. But when you are told by teachers, yes I'm saying teachers and a parent that your just not very smart, you tend to believe them. I mean come on they are your Mom, who more knows you better? Well, I believed this, never intending to ever go to college. Thought it was just something the Good Lord didn't have planed for me in my life. That Sept. of 2000 when my world fell apart. I was already on the bottom so why not try college. The first 2 years at P.S.U. I made the Deans List. All I want to say about that is "Mr. Hoskins my 6th grade teacher at Alba, you SUCK". So I can't spell and I stink at math. If you were me you wouldn't be able to spell/read well if your Mom hit you every time you read a word wrong, when learning at 6 years old. Mr. Hoskins told my Mom that I was a bright girl but don't expect much. All I would amount to is a good wife and Mom. What really upsets me is my Mom came home and told me what he said. If a teacher told me that now about one of my children, I would tell them where they can stick it. Yes, I am a Christian but I do have a problem with my childhood and teachers, I guess that's why I am a teacher now. No student of mine will ever feel stupid or dumb. I always wanted to be a Teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Dumb idea. As it turns out, they were ALL WRONG. I drank and smoked pot allot..Mainly just partied..Sad how back then I did throw school away.. I have been married 3 times..Yes I said 3..First one I was 21, he was in a traveling band..And yes he is kinda well know in the music world. However, I wont go into that to deep. We dated if you call traveling around all over the country with him dating..lol I stubbed my toe and got married..2 days later after the wedding I have never seen him again..lol Nor has his son John..I never did his laundry or ever cooked for him, therefore, I do not consider that one a marriage. If I was Catholic I would have had it annulled. However, my parents was just glad he married me and gave John a different last name. funny how generations think different. I will have to say. That John was my blessing from the Lord...I was meant to have him..not get married to Greg his (I will be nice) The way I see it by never seeing John he abdicated his rights in being a Father. So I went out and found another one quick. After two dates I found one. We made it 10 years. I find strength in myself for being married to someone I really didn't like that long...He did give me a wonderful Child my second son Jason... When I went to College at Pittsburg State..I swear off men...I met my husband now, Chad Bollacker from a friend...The first time I met him I knew I knew we would be together...We have are up's and down's but he is my bestfriend...I tell him just about everything....I am thankful everyday for him..He is probbly the only man in the world who can put up with me...He spoils me..Inwhich I love...I am just really blessed I found someone who loves me, makes good money to support me..Not only physacal support but also mentally...He is calm, kind, sweet, and loyel...and I have a big issue about loyelty...He would NEVER cheat on me...and he is someone who I can trust with all my heart...The main thing..I love him...When I get old and ugly and I am falling apart..Chad would never leave me...He is my Rock..
