Catherine's Story
Well as you can see we have done some traveling this year.Steve has talked of us doing a coast to coast trip for some time but I was not keen on taking a month off work to do it.But after talking to me about how life is so short and you never know if your health will be good when we retire I agreed to go.We also decided that after being togethor for 7 years that it was time to get married.We wanted our family to be there but we have family scattered all over the US and someone's feelings would be hurt so we decided to do it on our trip.We contacted a National Hog Chapter member in Tennesse and he was more than glad to help us.He found us a minister and they set our wedding up at a beautiful park in Nas...Expand for more
hville Tenn.The day of our wedding May 27 it was raining and I was a basket case wondering what we were going to do but 1 hour before we were to go to the park the sun came out and it was a beautiful wedding.I feel blessed because not only did I get a husband but I married my best friend and that truly is special!We took the General Jackson riverboat cruise on our wedding nite and had a great meal and they had a wonderful show too.We took an extra day to see Nashville.We called our family to tell them we had been married and they were all glad for us.We saw family in Idaho and friends in different states along the way.We saw 27 states and 1 providence.It was a great trip and one we will cherish forever.
