When I graduated from the U. of Denver, I worked for a short while in downtown Denver as a buyer for the May Company. By December I realized that I was only pleasing my folks as I was going nuts, working in a cubicle. January 1971 I moved to Winter Park, Co, to be a ski bum for that season and am still here. It has been a hell of a weekend! I worked seasonally, typical in a resort area. I had lots of odd jobs. Started the Fraser Day center with a friend and It is still thriving to this day. I was a form setter/ hod carrier summer and fall, and in the Winters I waitressed for 30 years. I also was a ski volunteer for the National Sports Center for the Disabled [NSCD]. I taught new instructors how to teach and worked with the different disabilities; deaf, blind, amputees, parapalegics, and quads. I enjoyed that for 18 years.
