Life
On September 12, 2007 I was diagnosed with Stage I Breast Cancer. I chose to have a mastectomy with reconstruction. I have been very blessed that early detection was and is my key to hopefully a long life. I am going to have 4 chemo treatments but those are for non reoccurence. The mastectomy on September 27 removed all the cancer and my lymph nodes were clean & free. First Chemo was on October 25th and then every oth...Expand for more
er week until the final on December 8, 2007. Chemo will kick your butt when you least expect it, but it is a necessary evil. My spirits are good and I have an awesome medical team and family and friends that have meant every thing to me.
