Cathy's Story
Life
Missed the 10-year reunion 'cause I got married the next weekend! And now missing the 20-year because we just welcomed twin baby girls to the world. They decided to come pretty early, but are doing great. Update: Baby twin girl Kelly went to heaven when the girls were 3 months old. We miss her every day.
We added the twins to our son (Jan. 2002) and daughter (March 2006). We also have a shifting batch of critters: horses, goats, bunnies, chickens (fresh eggs!) and of course a dog and a cat. We live in Kenos...Expand for more
ha, Wis. (behind the cheddar curtain), on a 10 acre farm close to the Mars Cheese Castle.
Graduated with a journalism degree from Eastern Illinois University. After an illustrious career start at the Bensenville Press covering city council meetings, school board, park district, etc., spent 4-plus years in Indiana as a police reporter.
Then to Deerfield, Ill., as trade magazine editor for food and retail industries. Upon kid #1's arrival, the commute and work travel didn't cut it, so now I am a freelance writer.
