Cathy's Story
Life
I spent 4 years in the Navy after high school and when I got out of the Navy I got a job as a 911 Dispatcher at the local Sheriff's Office. I am currently the Communications Manager for the 9-1-1 Center.
I love spending time outdoors and Oregon is so beautiful it is easy to find new places to enjoy all the time. I also enjoy hiking, listening to music, spending time with my friends playing cards, going to dinner and spending time in Portland and Seattle.

Military
I joined the Navy in December 1984. I went to Boot Camp in Orlando 12/84 to 2/85 then Quartermaster "A" School for two months. After that, I was stationed on the USS Acadia AD-42 for almost 2 years. After I left the Acadia, I spent two years in the Philippines at the Capas Tarlac Naval Radio Transmitting Facility working in the armory and with the Marines from Charlie Company. I got out of the service in December 1988 and have never looked back or had one regret about the time I spent in the military. Best decision I ever made.
