Cathy's Story
Life
Very simple. Married at 16, second child by 18. Graduated, but received diploma in the mail. We were off to Savanna, GA for our first military duty station. Stationed in Germany and had a blast! We saw most of Europe. Berlin was fun until my friend and I were asked to never come back. Then the wall came down. That was cool. Amsterdam was all I had hopped for. We spent our anniversary's there. Then we came back to the USA and lived in San Antonio for a will. Then to Bossier City La. Our first child, Samantha, is at LSU Baton Rouge and our second, James, is in the NAVEY. We went on a cruse for our 20th anniversary. That was a blast! Now what to do when the kids are all grown up and moving out....bye a bar of course! I love Bossier City and loved my job as a casino dealer. But life has never sat still for me so its off to cow town, actually past Fort Worth toward Spring town. I have gotten a job with Ryan air line as a flight attendant. I go to Cancun, Kansas, Jamaica, Vegas and Cozumel. I'm usually home by 5 am but sometimes we get to stay overnight at the company's expense. I'm having a ball. However I miss everyone so much. Let me know how you are doing. If you have American on line you will find me as rdrd123. I would love to hear from you.
It¿s been a long time cense I¿ve put in an update. Things are going good. Samantha our oldest is getting marred in October this year. She and her fiancé are living in Baton Rouge, La. They will be ...Expand for more
getting marred in the old state capital building. It¿s a castle that is a museum now. We are hopping they will be moving to the Dallas/fort worth area soon and start having grandbabies. Our son is out of the navy now and doing well also. He has moved in and helps with our rental property and watches the house when we are gone. I have somehow lucked into an amazing dream job. I¿m a flight attendant on a privet airline. I fly on a challenger 604/5. I¿m the only flight attendant with two pilots and up to 12 passengers (an average of 3). I¿m gone 4-6 days but then I¿m home 3-5 days. We go any were in the world. So far I've been to Spain, London, Portugal, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, all the little islands in the Caribbean¿s, and all over America. I never know where I'll be going or who will be on the plane. Lance Armstrong is a lot of fun. But getting paid to hang out in Hawaii for a few days is pretty cool to. I put pictures of the plane in the photo album.
How much fun can one person have? All the fun they can stand. I just got back from London and got to spend a hole day there. Not bad when you don't have to pay for the airfair or hotel and get paid to be there. I saw the changing of the gards, rode the Eye of London, messed with the gards, walked across London bridge (which is not falling down) and took a lot of pic's. I'm going to Hawaii in a few weeks and will have 2 hole days there with nothing to do, except relax and have fun. bye for now.
