Cathy's Story
After graduation I headed south to University of Richmond, majoring in Biology. From there I spent a number of years as a research specialist at University of Virginia's School of Medicine. I eventually moved back to Richmond, and went back to school to get my education degree, becoming a high school science teacher (Biology, Anatomy, Chemistry). that are now 19 and 17. Sterling is a sophomore at Vanderbilt, and Brooks is a senior at my high school. I hardly ever see him during the day unless he needs something (you know, money...food...print out a paper...). I keep telling him there are some perks of having me at school! I never thought I would be a teacher, but I still enjoy it, never a dull moment. Sometimes I want to pull my hair out, but ...ah...the summers are great!
