Cathy's Story
I am #6 out of 8 kids. I was born and lived in MAYFIELD NY till I was 13, my last year in school there was 7th grade. What a fun year! I did not miss 1 day that year. Gosh how I miss Mayfield and everyone there!! We actually got to go back to NY and see a few friends from way back then.
Moved to Wa in 1981...Went to Sehome and Bellingham. I usually hung out with my TWIN sister Connie and cousin Shelly. I was NOT into Teen Drama or being popular, I had Drama Thrown at me...why I left school early. Oh yea thank you for that..=)
I left in Dec 85" ran off to Alaska with Aaron(Dan). class of 84, married in 86' had our daughter in 87' and left AK in 88' to come home to WA to have our son. NOW those...Expand for more
kiddos are adults!!! It’s crazy how time flies. Both are now college graduates and and grad school our son became Doc Hillaire in 2022 !!!! Our daughter is now in grad school, she is married and has a son almost 14. We are so proud of our round 1 now on to round, Busy with round 2....have added several kiddos to our family, two that now are teenagers, and can’t imagine life without … And grandchildren, oh my that is the best ever! I love being a grandma!! We have three grandkids and maybe extras!
We moved back to Whatcom County in 2015.
Life is pretty good and can't wait to see what is next.
