So, my Life Story in a nutshell: I was called Cathy when I went to high school. When I was 22 I asked people to call me Cate. It took a few years for that to catch on with my family members, but most of my friends took to it quickly. I still go by that but I used Catherine as my Classmates Moniker since that is my full first name. I don't mind being called Catherine, I use it at work, but most people still call me Cate now. I really really do not like being called Cathy though. I went to Everett High in my freshman year. I moved away halfway through the year to Eastern Washington, Pasco to be exact, where I attended Stevens Junior High (and yes, I did get teased for having the same last name as the school) We moved back to Everett over the summer and I went to Mariner High in my Sophomore year., then moved yet again during the summer and ended up back at Everett High for my Junior year.
