Cathy's Story
Life
Hi Class of "66". I just married my son Chris off this Saturday April 7, 2001. What a fun time. He is 29. I have a daughter who just turned 31 April 8, 2001. I also have a grandaughter Sierra Isabella Buxton. She is three years of age. She is the center of my world. I still own Wallace Gas & Oil Inc. here in Lamar, Co. I am still caught in the 60's with my music. What a fun time in my life. Several things have happened to me thru the course of the last 35yrs. since graduation. Some were great and some changed my life forever. But I am still here to talk about them all.
2006 - Can't believe it is now 2006. I have a grandson now which is 3 yrs old and am expecting another grandson in August. My grandaughter is now 8yrs old. Still am working and probably will be for next 40yrs. I am still single and loving it. Sometimes it gets pretty quiet at my house until the kids come over to swim. Joined Match.Com and have had a ball with that. What else is there to do in Lamar America. I am looking forward to a 40 yr. reunion if I get any info on it.
2007 Don'...Expand for more
t remember must be my age
2008 No I am not married. Just a photo of a friend of mine having dinner. Still single and loving it. Life is great at 60 just a few more grey hairs and aches and pains. Still only have three grandchildren and that is all I am going to get. Two boys and one girl. Love them all and if I knew they were so much fun I would have had them first. Business is good even though the price of fuel is killing us. I did have fun at the 40th reunion and enjoyed seeing the people. Looking forward to another one in 2011. Still working full time with little time off for fun but I am trying to change that so I can golf more (Yes Dennis & Dee I will get ahold of you so we can golf sometime this summer).
I find the older I get the more I miss the High School Days. The days when you had fun without spending money. Drag main for a $.25, go the drive-inn movie and have some senior entice you into a little slow-gin. Make out with the upper classmates and have the upper classwomen be pissed at you. As you can see I enjoyed the good old days. Enough for now.
