Catrina's Story
Family
Met the man of my dreams in Nov/90. Got married in August 1994. We worked, travelled and enjoyed each other's company, but decided we weren't complete without a family. So we tried to have babies in 1997 and it took nearly 6 years for our first little girl to come.
Let's just say perfection takes a long time ;-) We were elated and a bit overwhelmed at first - who would've thought! But I think we learned how to have patience (tested at times though lol), a balance of routine and personal lives and most of all we saw the love that is children! So when we decided to add to our family we felt like experts (*note felt like!)...Expand for more
. Our second daughter arrived Feb/07 and we felt complete. Everyday is an adventure and I believe we've try and suck the life out of everyday - if only the days lasted longer! We may spend every dollar, but we're rich just the same :-)
**Update: We moved to just North of Calgary in April 2009 to follow my husband's aspirations to live and work out West. I am ready to start a life now without my husband now - July 2011 and am excited to put the past behind me and start fresh with my little girls.
Career
Took one year of Construction Engineering and packed it in for the corporate career. Had to get started making some dough. lol
