Cecil's Story
Departed Indianola on 1 Dec 1958 for the Army. Was enlisted for 8 years; attended Infantry Officers Candidate School. Graduated 1966 as Second Lieutenant, Military Intelligence. Returned to Mississippi in 1974 to attend William Carey College, Hattiesburg. Retired from Army on Aug 1992. 9-2000 worked out of Miami again for the Department of Defense; Program Manager for an information-sharing network among the Caribbean Island Nations and another network between US Southern Command (Miami) and MOD Argentina. With 350,000 frequent flyer miles, I retired!
Have been married to the same Scottish lassie for 46 years and have two sons: Robbie is a retired Army Military Policeman and is teaching JROTC in Sebring, FL. Tim is an Army Chief Warrant Officer in the Judge Advocates General Corps.
