Life
The Life Q&A on this site leaves a lot to be desired. I graduated from "El Pilar" in '80 (at 16), went to a small college in Virginia (otherwise "Papi" wouldn't let me come to the US!) Then I transferred to Syracuse, decided to not pursue a Medical Career like my Dad wanted me to, so I went into Interior Arch. Graduated in 1985, worked in PR for one year and hated it, came to NYC and became the youngest Project Manager specializing in corporate spaces in an Architectural/Interiors firm. Moved to CT in 1991. Took a break from my design career in 1992, my firm shut down and I decided to take time off (OK, the design industry was a horrible place to find a job!!). ign for a while and finally found a way to get back into the corporate world - by becoming a Project Manager for a furniture dealership. One of my clients, Unilever, discovered my outstanding talents as a project manager, sensibilities as a designer and artist, and my ability to deal with diverse personalities from executives to administrative professionals, and knowledge of buildings and construction. Unilever"stole me away" from that company, and at present, I lead the Facilities team for the Unilever HPC USA building in Greenwich, CT, and I absolutely adore my job!! I married in 1993, have one child (9 years old), a dog, a bird, and fish, and we all have much fun together and with friends.
