Cecilia's Story
Life
I met my husband John in 1970 when i was a Junior in high school. He graduated from CVS High in 1968. We married in April of 1972. Next year we will be married for 35 years. We have 6 children, Five girls and one boy. Our daughter Renee is 33, is an office manager for a company that sell enginered wood products. She is married and living in Palos Hills.Our daughter Irene is 31, is a bookeeper for Farm and Fleet, married and living in Wonder Lake. Our daughter Rhonda is 30, is a pharmacy tech for Walgreens, and living in Flordia. is 25, still at home and is also going to Culinary school they will graduate in December. Our last child John is 23, works for PetSmart Hotel and is living at home.
My husband John retired in December 2005. I'm currently unemployed. I worked for Walgreens Home Care for 14 years. but quit my job last year.
In 2002 for our 30th anniversary John and I went on a 10 day cruise to the Southern Carribean. Last year we went to Europe, and visited London, Germany, Poland, and France. Next year we plan on taking a cruise to the Greek Islands.
My husband John passed away on Sunday September 14, 2008.
I miss him soooooooo much. We were married for 36 years. He will be in my heart forever.
