Chad's Story

Life I've been eith my Wife now, almost 15 years, she can deal with my insanity after my Accident. I'm pretty much just happy to be alive! I'm a smaller-build than those dead-lifting 415 lbs days as a Freshman, but I think I'm in pretty good shape. School When I started HS I was a nerdy kid from a "Gifted And Talented Education" school, that never quite fit in. I listened to pUnK rOCk and could just handle basic math. Give me some higher level Algebra, and I was fine, it wasn't boring. Creative writing was another favorite...But I became a teenager... A lot of my friends didn't realized around middle of junior year I started missing school because I was frustrated, trying to finish homework, and keep up in Wrestling, and my weightlifting. I ended up going to the "school accross the field," Wintersburg. I had started playing in a band, doing stupid things...and just being wild, and crazy! I worked as a security guard, on-call 24 hour . Friend's of mine and I would go shooting in the desert in the '77 Chevy Blazer I just bought. One day we were driving home to get enought sleep for work that night, and the front tire blew. The truck rolled and left me comatose for about a week and a half. I had to learn to Walk, Drink, Eat, and after the Traecheotomy, Talk again. I've done a lot of things since. The most current being my attempt to try to get certtifacation for my hobby since I met my Wife, Sign Language. I have changed myself for the better after the accident, I have chosen to stop drinking, Smoking, or doing any [illegal] drugs. I know, a lot of people think it must be pretty bori...Expand for more
ng....but I appreciate being alive, and "bored." Besides...no one ever seems to be bored by me! College Studied General Edjucation(Coastline Community College,) with a slight interest in Criminal Justice. Then I went to Golden West College for more General Edjucation/Criminal Justice. Completed training for P.C. 832, Firearms and Arrest for Police Officers. I had organized the Criminal Justice Club with a friend of mine. Huntington Beach City requested our assistance in testing the SWAT team. A couple of us were asked to impercinate criminals, in lock up, that had gained co"=ntrol of the facility. Boy this was a rush. Until I realized that while posing as the insane criminal, there may have been HK91 Assualt Rifles pointed at me. We made it through, even though I threw a wrench in the works. When we could tell the SWAT team was getting close["Criminals" and "Hostages" were working together,] I sat close behind one of the "hostages," and posed as a hostage. The SWAT team popped in, surprising us, as they should. But just after entry, and them not paying attention to me, I said, "Bang, Bang, Bang. Three of you are dead." They didn't like that. They made us go back the way we were, with me being a "BAd guy" and reentered the room. Everyone should know I like being unpredictable! Workplace March of 2003 I started work at Stater Brothers, accross from OVHS. It's a union job, and aspire to be management if I stay with the company. Good atmosphere, comfortable! And We Don't Strike!!! Note: Dec.2009, not a manager, and not sure if it would be worth it! We will see if I'm ever offered!
