Chad's Story
School
Went to Robertson K-5, moved to Tuscon for a year when my Dad was going to school. Went to Wilson Jr. High (a miserable existence, with the exception of basketball and track).
Dropped out of Ike after sophomore year. Stole the door off the locker I shared with Dave and Marty, took it to Daves house, spraypainted it black and silver, installed it Monday, called to the office at 9am :)
Partied like a maniac with the crew for a year or so. Figured I better get my chit together or I'd end up dead due to OD, alcohol poisoning, or car accident.
Military Life
Joined U.S. Coast Guard in Nov. '82, stationed in Seattle for two years aboard USCGC Boutwell (WHEC 719). Went back and forth between Alaska and San Diego on patrols. Good experience, I miss the open sea and ports of call in Alaska. Wild times when I was about as out of control as a person can get :)
Post Military life
Moved back to Yak in '85, lived there till '87. To all the party people who visited Dave, Mike, and I at the Fish House behind Monkey Wards, what a blast we had! To the people who nearly perished with me in the Jeep, quit yer cryin', we only almost rolled it! Coulda been alot worse, ask Selina...Expand for more
or Aaron.
Surfer period
Moved to Cocoa Beach, Fla. in Sept. '87 with Michelle. Parted ways with said girlfriend. Moved to the beach (great move!) Worked as a machinist while sharing an apt on the beach with my good friend Dave Aggett. Learned to surf (a lifechanging experience) and had the time of my single life. "All I need are cool buds and tasty waves and I'm fine!" - J. Spicoli
Grunge period
Moved to Seattle in Jan. '91 with Holly (if you are out there, I would love to hear from you). A great time to live in Seattle, the height of the Grunge craze and the Dawgs were National Champs :)
Married life rocks
Met my wife and best friend, Lisa, the summer of 1992 at the 1st Annual North Idaho Chili Cookoff in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Married Dec. 18, 1993. Have four children (Kristin 22, Jessica 21, Sarah 12, Nathan 10).
Went back to school in '93, rec'd my Bachelors in Electronics Engineering in '96.
I've been fortunate during my career to be able to travel some cool places (Israel, France, Austria, China, Japan, Taiwan).
Currently living in Lake Stevens, Washington. Life is good, no regrets, looking forward to the next 40 years :)
