Chad's Story

Life So I thought I would fill anybody who is interested, not that anyone actually is. I was thinking about it the other day it's already been 5 years since I graduated thats nuts. After I graduated I moved to Saskatoon to go to the U of S and try and take something, it was going to be something business. I stayed there for two years basically trying to wade my way through school as lazily as possible. The first year I lived in the dorm and the second year Jeanne (My girlfriend from Notre Dame) and I lived together. That was a tough year, needless to say we ended up breaking up that summer. When I finished my second year I came home, to The Pas, and started working at Scotiabank just as a Customer support Representative. I got pretty bored with that so I ended up going to work for an accounting firm doing som Co-management work for a first nations band. I stayed on their for about 1 1/2 until our contract was up with the band. At this point I had started going out with another girl Holly Pich we started dating in November of 2002. We decided together that we were going to open up a business together. We opened up a little convenience store in The Pas, It's cal...Expand for more
led Hollywood Convenience. So I did that full time from June 2004 when we first opened. Then Holly and i got some amzing news in Febraury of 2005. We found out that we were going to be a Mother and a Father (we're still sorting out who's who but..) It came as a suprise at first but we both warmed up to the idea very quickly. I couldn't belive that I was gonna be a Dad, it was crazy that moment I felt like an adult, so crazy. So at this time Holly was working in dietary at our hospital, and I was full time at the store, we decided that with Holly going on maternity leave that I should maybe be going back to work. I decided that I would go back and work at Scotiabank. I got hired on as a Personal Banking Officer, in June of 2005. I started with the 4 month training program and have since passed my mutual funds licensing exam. Then on October 10, 2005 I became the happiest man on earth. My son was born he came into this world as 8 lbs. 2 oz. and 20.5 Inches long, it was amazing he had a full head of hai and beautiful Blue eyes. His name is Ethan Alexander but he goes by the name Alex, it's just amazing. That pretty much sums up my last five years, how about yours?
