Chardre's Story
Hi,
Some of jobs and interests have been, working at Grandway, K-Mart, Mae's Fabrics and my own businesses (Seamstress, vending machines, and tackle shop). I volunteered with the Seminole Players doing costumes and some props. I left the theatre for Heritage Village where I started out as a docent and soon also helped at the reception desk and office, eventually getting hired part time to help the Education Curator.
I am retired 2 years now from my favorite job at Heritage Village our local Museum. My job progressed over 14 years to include managing the main museum entrance and all the volunteers and scheduling all the school tours. I loved working with all the folks. During all this time I have been married to my wonderful Norman (40 years). We belong to the Pin-Mar Antique car club, Norm works on all our collectable cars and keeps them running. We are also Tin canners, having a vintage camper. We attend rallies with two groups, TCT and Scotty's Plus.
Just a little blurb about each of the schools I have joined.

nd very long before we moved on to Peekskill New York. We left White Plains when I was 6. I remember neighbors Ann and Patty. I will try to post some pictures from my time there.
Park Street School - 1 - 5th grade, I lived at 21 Seneca Street, We had a club called "The Never Never Junior club, named for our one fella, Oscar. Lots of neat memories growing up in that neighborhood - Sledding down the hill, first big bike, hiking in the woods behind my house. It's probably all houses now. Halloweens when we were safe going from house to house in the neighborhood. Would love to reconnect with Marilyn, Cindy, Oscar, Linda, David and Paul.
Gulfport Elem. - Entered this school during the 5th grade, took violin lessons. We were like the Music Man, when we played on our own, ugh, but when we all played at the end of the year as a group we sounded great! Remember the skit about Bunker Hill?
Disston Junior High - Well we are teenagers now, what can I say. Great times in Art class, my favorite.
Boca Ciega - Mechanical drawing and Art still faves. Remember Mr. Garner?
