Charla's Story
I'm sure I'm remembered as "never blossomed" and dorkish. Within a few months of graduation, I married - 45 years as of January 2024 to a wonderful man. Have two children (Chandra and Tim), and we have 8 grandchildren Marcus, Skylar, Ariel, and Rylan (Chandra's) and Lillian, Junior and Brennon, and Trace (Tim's).
Graduated from Earlham College with a B.A. in English and a Masters from A.I.U. in Education.
I work at the Great Lakes Colleges Association in Ann Arbor, MI as a senior program director and controller. Husband, Tim White, works in Howell, Michigan as CPP of Advance AutoParts...Expand for more
after managing a Radio Shack for 22+ years. Our daughter, Chandra, is living in South Lyon. Our son, Tim is a member of the ITT division at Michigan Medicine.
I stay busy with work and supporting our children and grandchildren. I've spoken at several conferences and meetings and organized numerous career and college fairs. I'm still an avid reader and a published writer—mainly poetry, nothing major. Additionally, I work as a professional editor and run my own review site, AudiobookReviewer.com.
My mother is currently living with us in Michigan after my father passed away in 2016.
