Life
I am a 1974 graduate of the St.John's Seventh Day Adventist Academy in Newfoundland.After Graduation ,I moved on to Ontario to a Boarding School ,to further my Education.My father,John T.Connors,Q.C.,moved out west to Alberta.It was there that I completed my Degree in Education,with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Music.Along the way,at the ripe old age of 31,I married a Man from Alberta.During the subsequet few years we miscarried 5 babies,but the sixth one was a Gift from God.A wondeful Miracle.My son has just turned 24, graduating grade 12 with Honours, three months after turning fourteen. The years have seen the passing of my Father, my older brother,as well as a number of relatives.I have traveled from one coast of Canada to the other.I sorely miss Newfoundland and the many wonderful friends I made there.If I should ever get the opportunity to visit,orK return ,it will be Post Haste!
I am very much a Country person now.Give me a Farm and the wide open spaces and I am in my element!I pray that each one who has passed through the doors the St.John's SDA Academy will take with them very fond memories of a close knit body of Students,Teachers and Staff.I will always hold a very warm place in my heart for this school and the dear ones ,with whom I had the pleasure of sharing in a part of their lives.God Bless each one of you dearly.
