Life I live right here in the portland area,only being gone for a short time in 1967 when i lived with friends missed my family and oregon so much moved back within a year. Im married and have four childern, all live here except one.My husband is retired he worked for the portland trailblazers for 20 years but a on the job injury forced him to retire early. I ran a house cleaning service but have also retired. In the years since graduation i have mostly been a mom and wife family means alot to me, while most of my years have been uneventful there are two that stand out, # one was in 1970 when my family lost my brother daniel in the war, or should i say conflict, the other was when we lost my wonderful sister rosealie Fey Girtz, she was working at leathers gas station as a manager when she and two others were shot and killed by three people who robbed the station.My other sister diane lives here about 2 miles from us she is my only living family member, as my mother and father have also passed on. My husband and i like to travel, most of all we love to go visit our youngest daughter Audra and her family. We just got back from Los Vegas, although were not big gamblers but we love the shows. Our biggest love is hockey we have been portland winterhawks fans since 1983 and havent missed but a hand full of games since, our youngest grandson Kyle plays he is only 5 but he is getting pretty good on his skates. Well thats my life i just try to be ready for whatever comes my way. updating my story to include my latest news, last july while visting our daughter Audra we were involved in a major auto accident, while we had some major injuries I believe we are lucky to walk away alive one of the passengers in the other vechile was not so lucky he did not make it to the hospital. I was in the hospital for 3 days, I had broken ribs, reinjured my back and am still to this day in quite a bit of pain. Our daughter Melissa fractured her ankle, it will never be the same she still has not been able to return to work. on a good note if you can say any thing was good about this tragic accident, my daughter Audra had only minor injuries and was released after only one night, and heres the really great news my two grand children Kyle and Brianna had only very minor injurys, Kyle cut his lip and Brianna had a leg injury but it was so minor that she did not hav...Expand for more
