Charlene's Story
Life
Well, it looks like college life is drawing quickly to a close. I'm single now, and that has been both a relief and a pain. But I feel it will be easier transitioning into the Air Force if I am unattached. This way I'll have no holds barred, I can kick back and really dive heardfirst into this new career I'm about to begin. Hopefully its better than ROTC has been, which of course has really sucked.
My baby sister is pregnant now so I may move back home with her between graduation and active duty. I'm looking forward to that, and being out of my crappy apartment.
I'm only taking ten hours this semester, which is really nice, I've started working out more often, and have spent more time reading, watching TV, playing with Pooka, and playing video games (I'm gett...Expand for more

It looks like I'm going to commission around the 14th or 15th of May. I've been assigned as a logistics readiness officer, or a 21R1. I should be getting my base assignment in March or April. I'd take anything close to the coast, which means they'll probably send me to Minot, North Dakota! We shall see.
Until then I'll be living it up here in the 'boro. Holla!

Doesn't it suck to look back and realize how much more you could have done in high school if you had just lightened up and enjoyed it a little more, and not worry about everything so damn much?
Military
Yeah, so I'm not really in the military yet, I'm in ROTC. Date of Commissioning: 8 May 05. Then, I have no freaking clue where I'm going.
