Charles's Story

Please give this information serious consideration. It may be how we protect our children’s respiratory health. I don’t think there will ever be a medicine, machine, home remedy or surgery that will displace our physiologic need for regular nasal sinus irrigation as an integral part of our natural oral hydration process. Constant mucus flow is essential for good respiratory health. I believe that nasal congestion and the thickening of nasal sinus mucus is the direct and natural result of improper/insufficient hydration. When nasal sinus mucus gets too thick to flow freely, it chokes us. Prevention is the only healthy choice. All humans are born with natural protections against respiratory illness. When we perform natural bodily functions in unnatural body positions, we need to ensure that the integrity of the processes involved are not compromised or diminished. We have failed to protect the integrity of our oral hydration process. Using cups and bottles to pour “liquids” down the throat is an unnatural and unhealthy mistake. The natural preventative for respiratory tissue exposure is a healthy internal mucus coating. This healthy protective coating is maintained through a process of consistent oral hydration in the anatomically mandated head/body positions for healthy oral hydration. The current human oral hydration theory compromises the hydration process and exposes us to respiratory distress. The current theory fails to acknowledge the undeniably intentional connection between oral hydration, nasal sinus irrigation, mucus distribution and respiratory health. It needs to be immediately reevaluated. The only water thin liquid the human body expects in response to a thirst impulse is water. If it’s water thin and it’s not fresh, clean water, it’s dirty water. There is and has always been an original head and body position for healthy oral hydration. We are all born with only 2 methods of ingesting water. Down on our hands and knees, lips to the surface of the stream, and from our cupped hands. When we assume these original human oral hydration positions, our nasal sinuses are naturally irrigated. Breathi...Expand for more
ng in and out through the nostrils between swallows will facilitate nasal sinus irrigation. Mucus is our first line of defense against airborne allergens, germs and disease and it's our body's protective lubricant. Mucus is secreted into the nasal sinus cavity for distribution through the natural oral hydration process. Pouring liquids down the throat, as with a cup or bottle, will bypass the nasal sinus irrigation aspect of healthy hydration and will also mucus deplete the body from entrance to exit. Failure to naturally irrigate the sinuses during all oral hydration will cause the thickening of mucus which causes congestion and the ensuing exposure to the respiratory system. The exposed tissues are susceptible to dryness, irritation, inflammation and infection. This is not theory. This is fact. This has always been true. Without tools, 100% of us would suck water up into our body. Our anatomic inability to pour water down our throat from our cupped hands is a feature, not a flaw. It's instructional. Teach your children nature's way. Drinking fountains are currently the modern method of ingesting water as our anatomy and physiology require. To conserve water, I prefer to drink from a 2 quart casserole dish with a lid. I can easily measure my intake and control the water temperature. I keep it on a low table so I have to assume a head/body position similar to the little boy pictured. I drink my fill when I drink. Since we are always in a state of dehydration, I am on a watering schedule in an effort to preempt symptoms of dehydration. Dry mouth is a secondary symptom of thirst for me. I get anxious when I’m thirsty. I drink about 4 liters per day depending on my activity level. I feel better when I’m wetter. If this resonates with you, please share this with everyone you know. Especially your doctors and all parents of young children. I’m trying to tell the world, 10 views at a time. I won’t stop saying this until doctors and scientists start. We’ve been making this mistake since we all lived in caves. Think about it. Give it a try. No salesman will call. There’s nothing to buy. It’s nature. Peace and Love
