Charles's Story
Hmmm...do I start where I used to sleep in my car during class at Northwest, show up late, and reak of cigarette smoke? Do I begin where we used to pass notes in French class at Nathan Hale or sow pillows in Home Ec? How about elementary school at Hartman where we used to participate in cross country on the back hill...it was much more exciting sledding on it though.
I suppose I should start after highschool. I joined the Navy Reserves and went to UNO for an undergraduate degree in business, while working in a number of factories. hen I was 23 or so and got divorced around 29ish. No regrets...my ex was a bright beatiful lady...too smart for me probably...we never had any kids. I got a law degree from Creighton and an MBA from University of Nebraska in 2000. I practiced law full-time for 6 years, then became a full-time professor at Bellevue University. I continue to practice law (both as Special In-house counsel for my University, and as of Counsel at a private law firm).
I love riding motorcycles, lifting weights, camping, traveling (Sturgis and Vegas are my two favorite vacation spots), living in the now, and re-living where we came from. I hope to hear where you have been and reminisce about where we were.
