Life
I retired to Naples in the fall of 2015 - here is a brief rundown:
I have survived thus far...
Steamboat Springs, Colorado from 1979 to 1989.
Silicon Valley, Northern CA (San Mateo to San Jose) '89-'07. I was even at the World Series game when the earthquake struck in 1989.
I lived in Mendocino County, CA (about 120 miles north of San Francisco) beginning in Dec. of '07 and lasted until my retirement in September of 2015. The story gets longer (of course) when I ended up working as a mortgage loan...Expand for more
originator for a non-profit and arranged for low interest USDA housing loans for families that would otherwise not be able to qualify for a loan. The program was a self-help (not Habitat) program, that resulted in a no-money-down-participate-in-the-building-of-your-own-home-agreement for families that could qualify. In 5 years, 29 families qualified to build and own their own homes.
I retired to Naples in the Fall of 2015.
