Charles's Story
I remember in the early 60's living in Glen Burnie MD in the Suburb of Suburbia next to Country Club and our streets were first Dumbarton Rd then Oakdale Rd. on Dumbarton we lived 3 houses down from my best friend John Russo/ in fact he's the reason I went to Holy Trinity Catholic School. The students and faculty I remember from there are Tim Mathews, Bruce Krell, Pam ...it's so strange that I can still see the faces but some names elude me from time to time. I remember Chris Hamberger who gave me a small fortune in Baaseball Cards That are either hid in a house we lived in or my mother threw them out I'm not sure which. I remember on Oakdale Rd.I was crazy about several girls ... alice Cox, Mary Huszingia (i know I miis-spelled that one) Sharon McSourley to name a few. The Yoders ..Joey and John, The Millers ...Maynard, Mike, Mitch, Brenda and Maryanne.

de then was sent back to catholic school for the 9th grade at Holy Cross High School Lynchburg VA then Dunbar High for 10th grade, moved to Rustburg Va for the 11th. I quit and joined the Army 17 days ofter my 17th birthday November 3,1973. served 2 years in the Army (a whole story in it self) as a Medic. Discharged in Dec 75 met my wife 2 days later she was working at a beauty salon my mother managed. Married September 25 1976 wearing Dress Blues as I was now a United States Marine....yes I went through Marine Boot Camp so I could wear Dress Blues as my wife thought it would be nice. The things we do for LOVE. We are still Happily Married and this September will make 40 years. We have 3 children ages 39, 37 and 33 and are blessed with 8 grand children 4 boys and 4 girls with ages from 14 down to 6
After the military I became a long haul Tractor Trailer Driver, my wife and I have been in all 48 continental states many times. Now I'm back in college working on my degree again.
