Charles's Story
What a whirlwind my life has been. In high school I was into things like chess and literature, languages and science. I was devoted to my faith and tended to proselytize. I went on to college where I started in architecture and switched to Latin American studies to study Portuguese and went to Brazil in 2000 to see where I was born, and ended up being invited to stay and work with the Deaf.
I went to Seminary to learn how to be a Christian pastor and ended up becoming a Wiccan priest. I went back to Brazil to study mysticism and ended up working with three Umbanda/Candomble temples to prepare me for prison ministry in the States.

hat everyone can find love if they are patient, I just took 56 years to find the love of my life. Fancy is an amazing woman whom many of you have met. Without her patience and her loving, I could not survive.
Remember me full of life, music, theatre, and always questioning. I am now working as a prison chaplain with two Federal prisons and have started up a correspondence network with two State prisons. I continue to write music, write plays, connect to a dozen things at once. I'm into good conversations, changing lives one person at a time, and helping other people to walk tall.
