Life Current job & brief work history Currently, I am a Project Administrator for a Facilities Management company in Midtown Manhattan, near Grand Central & 2 blocks from the UN Building. My responsibilities are assisting the Regional VP of Project Management & being responsible for over 200 of his projects. This ranges from seed money on getting a project started from the ground floor up, letters of credit from a municipality or borough, reviewing change orders, expediting permits from the NYC Department of Buildings so we can get the construction project started on its intended target date, as well as keeping all projects within their respective budgets. Previously, I worked as a Facilities Space Planner for Cushman & Wakefield & received numerous praises & awards for the Prudential Healthcare & Aetna Healthcare consolidation project from 1997-2001. I was a single point of contact for this consolidation project working from the build out status to completion, designing workstations using AutoCAD, meeting with the various contractors/vendors along with the IT & telecom staff regarding relocations (also called restacking) from different locations for the company in the Northeast region. Also, I filled in as an Assistant Property Manager for Aetna's 500,000 sq. ft. building in Cranbury, NJ. I was a jack of all trades during my tenure there & enjoyed every minute of my Facilities Management/Commercial Corporate Real Estate career ever since. I am basically doing the same scope of work now within Facilities Management, but different aspects of it, on various construction projects for this financial company in conjunction with my company for this portfolio I am currently on now.
