Charles's Story
Life
I left King High school in May 1989 and joined the Navy in January 1990, after traveling to Keflavik, Iceland, Mayport, Florida & Pensacola Florida, Philadelphia, Rota Spain & back to Jacksonville, Florida again, I left the service on Halloween 1998. The next 9 months I drove Semi Truck across the US and locally in Tampa, Florida. I gave that up and went to college and started working for AOL in July 1999, after 8 months there I became bored and decided to go back in to the Navy in April 2000.
I was lucky enough to be stationed in Chicago, IL from June 5, 2000 to June 4 2005. I am now living in La Maddalena, Italy and will be here until the summer of 2007 and maybe summer of 2008. hroughout Europe. I have already taken my family for Christmas 2004 to Barcelona, Spain and Paris, France.
In early spring I went to Augusta Bay & Sigonella, Sicily, Rota, Spain, Port Gentil, Gabon & Libreville Africa. For Spring Break we went to Rome, Venice, Florence and Pisa, Italy. Summer 2005 we went horseback riding in Caprera and sailing around the Sardinian Islands. For Christmas 2005 we wnet to Genova, Italy, Black Forest Germany back to Florence. For Summer 2006, we went to Switzerland , France, Amsterdam, Luzembourg, Germany and then back to our home in Italy. I now reside in Denver, CO and plan to stay here. I have received my B. A. in History and plan to no longer work in 2010 and become a stay at home dad and take care of the kids & play video games everyday!
