Charles's Story
Sorry about not getting my background until now, but here goes:
Graduated from GMI (noe Kettering University) and worked for GM (Cadillac) until 1974. Went to UM law school until the professors found out my real reason for going were (inorder)

4. Law school
Went to work for American Motors in 1974 and almost got tossed from my neighborhood for parking Matadors and Pacers in my driveway instead of Cadillac Eldorados.
Spent two years in France (85/87) and had a great experience with the family except trying to conduct meetings in French.
Came back to the U.S. working for Chrysler where I remained until I retired in 2001. I spent most of my 42 years in the auto industry working in the Quality/Reliability field trying to get the qualit...Expand for more
y level of the U.S. auto improved to meet the competitive challenge. You can see from the recent bankruptcy of Chrysler and the soon to be bankruptcy of GM, how successful I was.
My wife Sandy and I live on a small lake near East Tawas and spend most of our retirement time involved with local community affairs, our church and our grandchildren (in reverse order).
We have two children and three (soon to be four) grandchildren. We are very close as a family and spend a great deal of time together. One of our passions as a family are University of Michigan sports (especially football) We have had season tickets for almost 40 years and use them for family tailgate happenings.
