Charles's Story
Something I don’t tell a lot of people that needs to get out there. As you know I graduated quietest in our class. There is a couple of reasons for this.
First I was bullied since elementary school. It continued into Boy Scouts and high school.
The second reason I was sexually molested in November 1976. On a boy scout camping trip.
These effects me a couple of ways. The molestation I decided 3 things. 1 I would not do to anyone what they did to me. 2 I like women. 3 I would out last them in Boy Scouts.
The bullying still gives me low self esteem. I don’t see myself as good looking. I’m not intelligent. I’m not a good person.
This all came to a head after my work accident. I fell into a cardboard compartment. It gave me a brain injury. The combination of ...Expand for more
the brain injury and PTSD from being molested. Put me in a mental hospital for a week.
As you know I was shy the molestation added PTSD and I withdrew.
I tried to be a US Marine after graduation. I don’t make it through basic training.
I have worked in retail and drove a tractor trailer and a school bus. I worked in a warehouse and factory. I ran a Boy Scout trading post and was a receptionist for the Boy Scouts.
I married Maryanne Musbek . She was from Stratford . She died of breast cancer in November 2016.
We have 2 daughters. Gabrielle who is 25 years old and works at a grocery store. Emily who is 19 years old and in college.
My 8th grade crush I still carry for Sue Ryback . I also still have a crush on Tina Saksa. Has anyone heard from Elaine Oja ?
