I never attended Thompson High School. I attended Alabaster High School on Hwy 31. It was temporarily constructed in 1968 as an extension of Alabaster Elementary School. It was designed to mask the county's non-co...Expand for more
mpliance with the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court de-segregation order. It lasted for two years - 1968 and 1969 (to my knowledge) - until Thompson High School first began to start compliance with the de-segregation order.
