Charles's Story
February 22, 2011
Still haven't been to Taos, New Mexico on the bike. Probably won't happen this year either! Don't see the girls as much, looks like the life business has caught up with them. Life is good, definitely interesting.
Mom passed on a month or so ago, but it was merciful, she didn't have much life left in her. Dementia.
Job, house and girl friend were keeping me busy. Girl friend gone, now more time! LOL

I have 3 lovely daughters 27, 30, & 33. 8 grandkids from 3 months to 14. They give me great joy. At the present, they all live close, so it's just how much time I can wedge in with them.
I've been clean and sober for 16 years. Working the program and helping others keeps me pretty busy. (So does my head keep me busy, hahaha)
My job is as an engineering tech for an airplane manufacturer in Washington. (you'll never guess what company).

iritual but not religious.
We moved up to the Northwest (Bothell, Washington) in 1980 and have never looked back.
A couple of years ago I bought a 2002 Harley Davidson Sportster. It has a few upgrades to make it loud and fast. She's black and chrome. I call her Brenda (gaelic for little raven). I love to ride. I may ride down to Taos this year, definitely next year.
I get season tickets to the Seattle Symphony every year and on occasion hit the opera.
Also thoroughly love jazz, Bill Easley, "oh what a dream", Gabor Zabo, the list goes on and on.
I play on line chess. It was a game I hadn't played for years and decided to take it back up.
I've done a little writing, but most of it is sophomoric. A couple of short stories is all. I need to feed that part of me that thinks I can write! hahaha!
I'm in a relationship with a wonderful woman. I'm planning on asking her soon!
