Charles's Story
I graduated from KSC in 1969 and went back home and taught HS Math and Physics for 10 years, as well as coaching the Baseball and Rifle Marksmanship teams. I got an M.A.T. in Physics from UL in 1974.
In 1979 I entered UL Law school and graduated with honors in 1982. I clerked for two different Federal judges in Louisville and, in 1984, accepted a job with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. I have been there ever since. In 2002 I moved from Alexandria, Va., where I was renting, to Olney, Maryland, where I bought a townhouse.
I did a lot of running (yes, marathons including the Origin...Expand for more
al Run in Athens, Greece in 1996). But my knees and back have started arguing with me and I have now switched to golf -- which I play poorly, but with great enthusiasm.
I also spend a great deal of time working with the KSC Alumi Council and with the UL ALumni Association. I have also served as President of the Alumni Association of a Prep school in Northern Ohio where I attended for 2 years of HS. I am still single and probably always will be. Even my mother has given up trying. :)
The KSC alumni Council is holding an All-college reunion on July 26, 2008 at the KSC campus. I hope to see all of you there.
