Charles's Story
Life
Thoroughly enjoyed my years at each of my schools in Savannah. Went away to Ala. for college, and lost track of most folks. Following graduation from Auburn U. in '67, went to work in Aiken, SC. Worked entire career at what became Westinghouse Savannah River Co., and retired from WSRC on 7/31/00. Until my retirement, had lived in Augusta, GA or surrounding communities since college. Married; 4 children; 3 grandsons.
Since retirement, am splitting time between Augusta and Hilton Head, mostly the latter.

ttended the 40th class reunion in 2002, my first, and had a wonderful time. Have, through classmates.com and the reunion, begun to make up for lost contact with old friends.
In 2003, was delighted to participate in the committee that organized the reunion of Eli Whitney Elementary School classmates to mark the school's closing after 50 great years.
Later, in 2007 - as a member of the reunion committee - helped with and attended teh 45th SHS class reunion.
