Life Since graduating from high school i have worked: --- as a shoe salesperson at Alfred's Shoe Store in Angleton--the store owned by my best friend's (Pella) dad, ---as a security guard at Dow Chemical, Oyster Creek Division, ---as a clerk in the accounting office of the Lubbock Avalanche Journal, in Lubbock, TX, ---as a caregiver of children in my home, ---as a caregiver of children from the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old, in our church day care, --- as a cashier and eventually manager of a retail store on the Naval Air Base in Corpus Christi, TX. I was married in 1982...my husband and i were married for 24 years, but are now divorced. my husband had custody of his little boy, from a previous marriage, when we met...i became his mother and have been ever since...together, my husband and i had 3 other children--2 boys and a girl...our youngest was killed by a drunk driver in 1991...Expand for more
