Charlotte's Story
Hello everyone. My life story? Well, after Spring Branch I studied Nursing at Texas Woman's University. It didn't suit me, and I quit at the end of my junior year. A few years later, I earned a B.S. in Computer Science at U of H. I worked for Lockheed in Northern California doing satellite communications programming for five years. In 1987 I transferred back to Houston and I've worked on the International Space Station Program since the beginning. the Space Station assembly was complete) and I'm retired. I make jewelry and at one point attempted to have an online shop on Etsy.com, but it was a bigger hassle than I'd expected.. I married in 1994 and divorced in 1996, and I've been a single mom since 1995. I live in the Clear Lake area. My son currently lives with me (age 25), and when he leaves Houston I will probably follow. (He's young and wants to see the world.) I'd love to hear from anyone who has fond memories of Spring Branch or just wants to connect.
