Charolette's Story
School
In school I was a very shy girl. that kept to herself... I had few friends but those friends that I did have-were dear to my heart...
Highschool is not a place that I would like to go back to. I loved school and my teachers but that's where the line is drawn.
College
I loved S of O. However I should have done some growing before I went to college. My roommate was great she was a senior and I a little freshman. But we had some great times. At orientation I met "the gang" a group of people that just bonded form the start. Where you saw one of us you usually saw at least 10 if not more.. We even had our little nicknames.. Dro, papadoc, leather, lace, weird al, ruthie.. My how times have changed.. You guys were my soulmates my friends then and now.. Thanks for everything. Without you I would not be the person I am today..
Thank you..
Workplace
I liked working at Striderite. But when it closed I got the opportunity to go back to college. Though I have a degree in Medical Office. I am currently working with the mentally handicapped. This has been my dream job. When I graduate...Expand for more
d highschool this was what I wanted to do- be a teacher for these kids in general. However not having experience in the real world I messed up and in the beginning I majored in parties.. Now I am doing my dream job with some great kids and great co-workers. Who would have thought that at the age of 48, my dreams would finally come true and would have my dream job as the lead teacher in my own classroom.
Life now:
I have a wonderful son who is my world.
I have found my soul-mate and my rock. Little did I know that the boy I had a crush on in the third grade, would come back into my life as my best friend and the man of my dreams. We are getting ready to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary-wow where has the time gone? This man is the best thing that has ever happened to me ----other than my son who is still my world. I have a son, a wonderful husband, a gorgeous stepdaughter and the best in-laws anyone could ask for.
It's amazing how life changes. I am divorced, a grandma, have my own place, and a masters degree in education. I love being a Mimi, my grandson is my everything.
