Chastidee's Story
Life
After Clay, I attended IUSB for a year and then transferred to I.U. in Bloomington. I loved B-ton and had an awesome college experience. Met my husband, Matt, and we moved to Colorado after graduating. We live in Lyons, Colorado. A small town close to everything. Boulder, Denver, Rocky Mountian National Park. It's an awesome little community, about 1500 people. I'm the Executive Director of the Lyons Chamber of Commerce. I help promote our business economy and tourism for our town.
Matt and I have 2 golden retrievers and 2 tabby cats together and own a home in Lyons.
I love Colorado and plan on making my home here for quite awhile. There's no doubt about the quality of life here, it's the best.
I love to have visitors! If anyone's in the area, look me up and let's hang out!
School
Ahh, good ol' Clay High. I had fun in high school, the football games, the basketball team winning state our senior year, that rocked! Poms, shakin our booties at halftime, being one of the best squads around...and swimming, that was great exercise, we worked hard and had a lot of fun. High School started to lay it all out for me...my love for activities, being involved and being around all kinds of people. I have great memories and I'm proud to have gone to Clay High. Go Colonials!
College
My college days were...Expand for more
too much fun. I loved meeting all the new people, but always ended up with friends from the Bend. I met some of the coolest chicks at I.U. that were from S.B.!
Transferring there my sophomore year was a whirlwind, living with Kristin Konstanty, Kim Ask, Ashley Norman and the "other" girls was a blast. The Varsity Villas was our homepad. That first year I met some awesome ladies from Riley, St. Joe and around the state. The following year we all moved in together and stuck with eachother till graduation. Julie, Lisa, Sandi, Kathy - Luv Ya Girls!!
I have to mention my girl, LO! Thanks to one of my roomies, one of the "other" girls - I met an awesome gal from Seymour, IN. LO and I became best buds fast and I love her to death! Her and her husband now live in Colorado. Julie, too! Without all the gals named here, my college experience wouldn't have been half the fun!
Then to meet my husband was the icing on the cake. Matt picked me up at Yogi's, a favorite Bloomington hangout. He challenged me to a game of pool and if I lost I was to take him out and if he lost he'd take me out. I had been single for over a year and he was super slick, good looking and I had noticed him a couple weeks prior. From that night on, we were inseparable. He lost the game, too. hee-hee!
We dated for 7 years before tying the knot.
