Cherese's Story

Hi Everyone, Hope all is going well for all of you. My Husband made it home safe and sound from his second tour in Iraq. He got to the States in Jan. 09. Hopefully this will be his last deployment, but he does have 2 more yrs. before he retires from the Military. Lets just hope this war will end soon. We are still in the State of North Carolina and love it here. The winter was awesome. We wore hoodies all winter and the people here thought we were crazy. But the weather was so mild we didn't need coats. We have been to the Ocean, 2 Theme Par...Expand for more
ks, Lowes Motor Speedway for a Cup Race and Truck race and also up to Martinsvilles Speedway for a Truck race as well. There is so much to do there and this part of the country is so beautiful. It reminds us of the Pacific Northwest. We still sit and wonder why on earth we wasted 13 yrs. in North Dakota. But live and learn. Hope all is well with everyone. Plan to be at our 30 yr. Can't believe it's only in 2 more yrs. Wow we are getting old...Well take care everyone and thanks for all the support and prayers for our troops....Cherese Leyerle
