Cheryl (Gater)'s Story
Life
Cheryl 'Gater' Eby - I still go by "Gater"... Married to Tom since 1986. We own high desert horse ranch but after over 30 years full time involvment with horses, I no longer breed or train. I do a 1/2 arab pinto mare, a yearling Dreamazon bred filly and a BLM mustang.
I work part time as a background actor. I have been milling around in many movies and TV shows, including Terminal, War of the Worlds, and my favorite TV show of all time, Six Feet Under. More recently worked 'All About Steve' (movie coming out ...Expand for more
late 2009).
I moved to the Channel Islands in '04 and July 2008 to the coastal town of Carpinteria. I'm a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. I love classic funeral coaches (sadly sold my 1973 Miller-Meteor side loader when I moved to Ventura) I don't live far from the Santa Barbara Polo Club and hope to attends some matches even though I'm not "into" polo.
