Cheryl's Story
Life
My Life: I graduated from Riverside High School in 1980 and met a wonderful guy, at a bar of all places and his name is Barry deWit. He graduated from Mentor High School in 1979. We were married in July of 1986 and have one child. Mackenzi deWit was born in 2001. I still live in Painesville Ohio and I work full-time. For those who can't remember me, I had really long straight hair and glasses. My hair is now colored a dark brown, and not due to grey hair, LOL, had lasik surgery and don't wear glasses except readers. Our daughter is 13 years old and a beautiful young lady. I have a Facebook page if anybody wants to look me up.
Hobbies: My husband is into cars. Barry still travels to car shows and drag strips. And yes, we own a 1969 340 Dodge Dart and restoring a 1971 Du...Expand for more
ster. We also love drag racing. We have taken Mackenzi at the age of 4 years old to watch NHRA drag racing and she continues to go every year and loves it. We vacation in Hilton Head SC each year and have a plan to go down there for the winter and up here in Ohio in the summer, of course after I retire. Barry, my husband has since retired and works part-time for his best friends towing company. I also love to scrapbook and make homemade cards. Since I have a 13 year daughter, I have lot's of picture's of her that I put into scrapbooks.
I still keep in touch with some of my classmates from school. I really would like to hear from the people I went to school with at Auburn Road Career Center. Those last 2 years of school and the people and friends I made and met, were the best.
