Life
Hi All. I've been married for 57 years next month. Bud & I have 2 children, Mindy & Dan, & 5 grandchildren - Darren, Jacob & Kaysa are Dan & Kristy's - Harrison & Sawyer are Mindy & Adam's. We moved to Bellaire 52 years ago. Bud is retired from GTE & rebuilt classic wooden boats for 12 years after. I retired from actively selling real estate after 23+ years. As of October 31, 2009 I am completely retired! I am enjoying doing what I want when I want! Still love travel, gardening & reading. With Mindy living in Utah & Dan in Marquette we do a lot of traveling. Make one or more trips to Utah each year & numerous visits to Marquette or Mindy & Dan come here with...Expand for more
their families. Minfy & Adam & the boys have relocated to Drummond Island & own Lakeview Resort. Dan, Kristy & Jacob are in Marquette, Darren in Ishpeming & Kaysa in Grand Rapids.
This past winter, after a hellish trip to FL with the 5th wheel, we purchased a "Park Trailer". Don't know the difference between that & a Park Model. Anyway, we spent a week getting it in shape ~ with the help of 4 very good friends!!! We've now owned it for 14 years. Now we will take the car instead of the truck & 5th wheel. Keeping both tho' as we do a lot of camping during the summer/fall months. Due to Bud's health issues we've sold the truck & putting the 5th wheel up for sale. 😢
