Cheryl's Story
I guess it's about time I put some real "info" on here. I still live in Colorado Springs, it's home. I have been married for 20 years to Clark Burr. For anyone from the class of 81, yes it is the same Clark. We met in a college math class at UCCS, dated/were engaged for three years, so that makes it 23 years together. We have two kids, one 18 and the other 12, three pugs and a 110 lbs. Lab. In 1991 I decided I really did want to be a nurse and went back to Nursing School married with a two year old in tow, not the way to do it, but then sometimes you do things backwards. ting in 95 with a BSN I have been blessed to work in Skilled Nursing or Hospice, both are awesome. After my Dad died in 2001 I decided to loose my mind and go back for a Masters of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner. I am still wondering how I finished the program in December of 2007, it was a long, interesting educational process, none of which I could have done without Clark. I have recently been asked to join the practice of wonderful local Doctor and I guess we will see what comes next in life, it's been a heck of ride so far. I hope everyone is doing at least okay wherever we ended up.
