Hello all and thanx for stopping by. Currently, I am a Registered Nurse (BSN) and will soon be enrolling in an MSN program to become either an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (maybe both?). While I'm still not married, I have found my soulmate (FINALLY!) - a foxy GI Doc and we're engaged. We've talked about me becoming his NP, but I think I'll have to stick with my first love - cardio. We're planning on having kids (1-2) after I finish my MSN. We will likely be moving to Miami in the next 10 years. I may still face some professiona...Expand for more
l challenges there, as some of the southern states still attempt to limit the autonomy/professional priviledges of NPs (with GA being one of the worst!). Hopefully, this will have changed by then or I will be joining the lobbying efforts to do so.
Well, what can I tell ya...high school was a tough time for me as a depressed and confused kid who seemed destined for total self destruction. And then my life today...I would not trade it with anyone! God has been soooo good to me (although I'm not sure why sometimes). I truly hope that all of you are just as happy with your lives!
